Michael McGee, Director of Technology at Nypro Inc. and other staff members, will discuss industry trends and market forces that are shaping the future of the plastics industry. Some of these issues include the economy; general sustainability topics such as the environment, bio-plastics, recycle and reuse; and new processes and materials with previously unheard of capabilities. It has been said that the future always has belonged to the innovators; this discussion is for them.

Nypro's Technology Staff and representatives from the University of Massachusetts, Lowell Plastics Department will present an overview of activities involved with bioplastics, coatings, reusable plastics and similar materials currently coming in demand to reduce a company’s carbon footprint and minimize a company’s impact on the environment.
